Ralpha
I have a 91 Acura Integra 3-door with 5-speed and 165,000 miles that has a problem at idle with surging RPMs. Before fully warmed up, while idling, the motor vacillates between about 800 and 1500 RPMs. It will surge to 1500, then fall back to 800, then, about 1 second later, surge again and fall back again. Once the motor is fully warmed, it will idle at about 800 RPMs. I have had a major tune-up including wires, plugs, distributor cap, etc. including a new temperature sensor that hopefully would fix the problem, but unfortunately not. Anybody got any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.
