markasdunc
Please post why you chose what you did. Im trying to get a good idea of which direction I should go in with my civic. Thanks!
markasdunc
Dont know what happened to the poll but it was supposed to read "B16" "B18" "H22A" and "Other (Please Post)" If a staff member could fix this for me, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
CleanGSR
You have to put each one on a different liine when creating your poll. If you put it all on one line it will combine it like that.
CleanGSR
I would vote for B18C1 becauase it is a good platform for turbo, doesn't weigh as much as the H22 and would be cheaper than an LS-Vtec. Just depends on your budget. You should list your budget so people can decide accordingly. No budget then I vote for a MR w/ NSX motor (like the CRX that someone did). BigBirdSucks
I would obviously go for CR-VTEC.
CleanGSR
Since when do you like CR-Vtecs? Why didn't you vote for other?
ZCcivic
CR-Vtec is that the b20?
CleanGSR
It is partially a B20. CR-Vtec = B20 Bottom end w/ Vtec head = lots more torque and hp.
BigBirdSucks
Since when do you like CR-Vtecs? Why didn't you vote for other? are you serious? I just forgot to click on the option. I was in a big hurry last night due to an "adventure"

91H22Accord
i would go h22 that's if you don't really care about budget you would have to reenforce the chassis and get a good lsd in order to get all your power on the floor and not burn out too much sum kid around here has an h22 on a hatchback with high compression pistons and a few other mods running 12.7 he said the quaifi lsd got him from 13's to 12's
91H22Accord
then again you have a d16z6 i belive you could also build that engine with turbo those things are also pretty quick <<has d16z6 on hatchback

XScarAudio
yeah, they make kits for the mounts too. its a heavier option that some prefer. not my fav choice tho, but if you get your hands on them cheap, it isnt a bad option.

Humphries
b18 is a nice engine. i have a couple buddies with them in like 92 civic hatches and another friend in a 96 coupe. plenty horsepower and nice pull when you stomp the gas and drop the clutch.
