Did you end up with XM or Sirius? A friend of mine has Sirius and his antenna is on the rear dash area. He hasn't had any problems with it so far. My sister has a 2004 Accord EXL with XM and the antenna is on the exterior since it was a factory installed unit. My thinking is if you try it out inside on the rear dash and it doesn't work out very well then as long as you leave enough slack you can probably run it to the trunk lid. Good luck with the install and keep me posted. I have a 2003 Accord Coupe with tinted windows as well and I have been considering XM for awhile.

I would be interested to see how you set it up since you replaced the third brake light.

You can post the pics in here although you have to host them on another site. I use maj.com but other people use photobucket.com or other sites. Beware of sites like Sony's imagestation who compress the size of the photos. All you need is a valid email address to set up an account.
