KOTULCN
I just bout a Euro spec 1993 Honda Civic HB, it does NOT have an airbag, how do I remove the steering wheel from the column, basically how do I take the cover off to get access to the the nut? Also I want to put on a Grant GT steering wheel, and they dont have a adapter for that year w/o an airbag - does anyone know if the adapter for the 91/92 civics will work ? Civicer
Have you found out how to remove that steering wheel? I have the same question, I have Civic 95 and I would like to install new steering wheel. If you still having problems with it, can anyone help?
Nancy
you need the little star shaped wrenches. theres little screws that hold the cover on that need the star key. they look like allen wrenches kinda. take those of, remove the cover then take off the nut holding the steering wheel. cranny
no you dont. you need no special tools. pop the emblem off the middle. take the nut off with a ratchet. pull with hands at 9 and 3 o clock and rock side to side gently while pulling. taadaaa simple. if someone needs to know how to safely take a wheel off that has an air bag in it let me know. SolLesHonda
Disarming the SRS system isn't even hard. But, steering wheels are easy.
