Okay. I currently don't know anything about the Del Sol S and i'm about to buy one just as a little project thing. I know its the craptiest out of the whole Sol family but that's okay i heard it gets great gas mileage. Can someone just tell me the basic stuff about Del Sol's in general. How reliable are they? Someone told me that they are made really crapty but that could just be his opinion. Let me know that would be great. Thanks

Not the most reliable of Honda's , but at the end of the day its still a Honda. I dunno about what their like in america but over here theyve got a reputation for being mechanicly unbreakable. the S to be honest is underpowerd , might get great gas mileage , but im sure theres better cars for gettin good milage than a 2 seater drop top. Go for a higher series model , wont regret it.

i have an 94 S. i never have had a problem with it at all, and when i had the little d15 in there, it never really gave me a problem. 35 miles per gallon was also a plus (wish i had that now).

what year del sol is it? how many miles on it? etc... tell us about it. what kind of "project" will it be?

what do you mean not reliable? i dont know about you but my sol definitly is. you wont have problems if you take care of it.

I have a 93 s, the d15 never broke, after the swap, nothing has broken. Damn good car, but the roof leaks, and thats an easy fix, too, if I would just do it. If you can get a good deal on it, hook it up. It's a honda, after all.
