pioneer decks are alright but they're too flashy for me. they aren't "true" performance deck. true ones are either alpine, eclipse, or um... well a few more. i say go for it.

eclipse is the shiznit. panasonic is the worst IMO

panasonic isnt bad, i have one in the sol. it does its job.

i have one in my del sol too. it barely does its job. it is falling apart, the cover doesnt even slide up over it anymore cause its the faceplate doesnt sit flush like it should. also i have problems w/ the volume going all the way down to mute when i dont want it to... i dont like it.

interesting....I had alpine deck in my old integra and it was junk.

 

I have the regular Poineer counter-part of the deck pictured and I love it.

Not to get off the topic but I have heard that alpine is the head unit in most Hondas. I am not sure if the few people I heard it from may have mistaken the info for the other components in Hondas like trunk mounted cd changers.
