Rob_L Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 We have a 2018 CR-V EX-L which we bought new. It's the AWD model with the 1.5L turbo and CVT. It also has the color display (touch panel) audio but not navigation. From what I've found watching YouTube, the infotainment system has the 2017 version of the OS/software. The system DOES NOT have the capability of updating it via Wi-Fi nor USB. We've not had any issues with the system. We are seniors, but I'm a retired techie. We have a good Garmin GPS, but I've recently been trying out Android Auto with Google Maps for navigation for more up-to-date traffic conditions, etc. I'm wondering if there would be anything to gain by having the dealer update the software next time the car's in since this is now a six year old car (with about 70K miles on it). Thanks! Rob Quote
