optional187
is a b21a1 out of an old prelude or something? just get a newer b-series. there's a reason why everybody else gets them.
94customex
well i know that a b18 would be better but i have a 91 prelude si that i am parting out and im keepng the b21a1. If i cant find a prelude to put it in i was wondering if it would fit in a civic or something else
Mercutio
B21...the retarded cousin of the B20... "Deep within his laboratory, Dr.Honda was making parts for the next CR-V, when all of a sudden...*BLOOM* The B21 was born. He tried to hide it from the world in the lesser-bought Prelude of old, but to no avail. They found it. Pretty soon, kids started putting them into their Civic's and topping them with GSR heads. Just like the B20. Maybe Dr.Honda's mistake wasn't so bad after all. Or was it..." Dah Dah DAHHH!!!!

94customex
i figure i got the motor for free i want to balance and blueprint the crank and flywheel the do pistons rods and cams. Then i want to run either boost or nitrous. So i figure it should be a pretty good engine. But no one has answered my question yet. What will it fit in. 94customex
yep i just did that yesterday i waiting to here back from a couple of companies. if anyone is interested in the same swap i will post some companies that sell them
Mercutio
That's cool. always expanding th epower of our Civics. I think it would be interesteing i you could pull this off, because I'm not sure if anyone else has. I assume it wouldn't be too hard to put the B21 in, since with some mount kits, one can put an H22 in. So the displacement shouldn't really be an issue. optional187
i've never heard of anyone doing it...but like i said before, there may be a reason for that.
94customex
yeah i think it would be a little different too. I found alot companies like enjo and hansport(i think thats how its spelled) offer a b20 swap mount, but not a b21. But after checking a b21 will bolt right in place of a b20, so it is possible. it just depends if i find a prelude or a civic donor car first. Whichever one i find first is getting the engine. Mercutio
Yeah, I myself was/am kinda lookin' for a bubble back donor car. Mainyl for bodywork though, my friends an artist and my uncles a bodyman. I smell custom widebody...
BigBirdSucks
yeah i think it would be a little different too. Whichever one i find first is getting the engine. the mounts are completely different. the B20B and B20Z are completely different motors with different mounts than the B20 or B21 out of the prelude. cams? are you going to duct tape one to the side of the engine? it's only a SOHC. it's HASport
..SSR..
No, you can't. Besides, that engine sucks ass.

94customex
thats cool at least you can admit when you wrong i appreciate that. I have already found out who makes cams, crank, flywheel, pistons, rods for a b21
94customex
well its not going in a civic i found the same car that motor was in but the car has a blown motor. So it will work perfect. So no b21 in a civic.
BigBirdSucks
nifty. I like that generation prelude, the engines just aren't as reliable. I looked around when I totaled my integra for a prelude like that, but I could find any parts for them. that was a while ago though. good luck with it. ..SSR..
95mm cranks suck for high revving, especially when they are weak. 95mm crank is as far away from the B16's near perfect R/S ratio as you can get.
