94customex
I was thinking about replacing my clutch in my 94 ex i was wondering how hard it is do. I have read my haynes book and it didnt seem too bad. But i was wondering if anyone has done this themselves and if so would u do it again yourself or just pay a shop to do it. BigBirdSucks
it's quite a huge pain. I'd just let a shop do it.

h22adelslo
Hey ryan, isn't that fun? Yeah, let a shop do it, it's not THAT hard, but have fun getting it aligned if you've never done it b4.
TypeOne
Not too much involved... Jack the car up, take off the wheels, break the ball joint, take off the axle nut, take out the 17mm bolt in the LCA and the shock, take both side axles out. Drop the tranny mount down with a jack, and jackstands... Disconnect all of the lines in the way on the tranny.. Use the 17mm socket and unbolt the tranny, let it drop with a tranny jack. Unbolt the clutch from the flywheel, put the new one on, tighten down the new one to specs, and in order.(using a clutch alignment tool helps!) Reverse the steps... Get a hayans manual and you shouldnt have any big problems.... It will take a while if you've never done it before, you just need all the right tools to make it go smooth. I think thats all you need to do.. its late:(
