cfarmer420
I know i can spend about $350 on a vtec controller, but i have come to understand that theres a solenoid that you can put a resister on that can kick in the vtec at an earlier rpm. Or would it be in the best interest to get a vtec controller.
TLontheDL
the only thing putting a resistor on the solenoid would do is let less voltage get to the solenoid. The VTEC system is all inside the ECU, making adjustments to the engagement RPM requires the use of a VTEC controler or proper computer tuning by a qualified company.
