97AccordWagon Posted November 10, 2022 Share Posted November 10, 2022 I have a 97 Accord Wagon with a 97 Odyssey engine(H22) and a 95 Accord(sedan) transmission (yes there is a difference). I've put 4 different starters (97 Odyssey x 2 and 95 Accord x 2) in and none of them will engage the flywheel. One each used starters and one each of remanufactured (bench tested) starters. I've replaced the wiring from the ignition to the starter solenoid. I've replaced the ignition switch. I've even replaced the ground wire to the engine/tranny and the frame. It's getting all 12 volts to the starter. I just can't get it to engage!!! What the hell am I missing?? I've even pulled the car with it in drive to try and advance the flywheel. HELP!?!?!
