Dennis Tharpe Posted October 28, 2021 Share Posted October 28, 2021 Looking an 89 LX transmission 5 spd 2.oL eng. I live in VA and most older parts are gone. I miss the 28- 32 MPG. I pulled the tran, without even realizing they were that hard find. I was hoping for a bearing replacement, the transfer case is broken beyond repair. Since I pulled the trans, I suffered a Stroke and you could imagine the problems waiting for me. The car old like me, but I don't want to see her go!. I would have to pay somebody to haul her away. my hopes of fixing her up grow dim, but I thought I would give it one more try by posting to your forum. I don't alot to pay, any reasonable offer will be conscidered. I realise this is not the place for buying or selling parts but my last effort to fix her should go to people like you who have an appreciation for Honda Accords. Thank you for time and listening.
