I have a 97 honda accord ex 16valves MANUAL ,which is been having engine problems. I have a 96 honda accord AUTOMATIC transmission engine, I'm wondering if it will be a good fit for my car, haven't done this before ,considering the difference of transmissions Looking for answers pls ,before I even start working in this option

You didn't specify the model version of your 96 accord so I cannot fully answer your question. Check the engine codes. If the two blocks are identical you can unbolt the transmission and just swap out the long block. The only difference is the intake manifold, which should have additional sensor mounting holes on it for the automatic transmission engine management. If you have the proper plugs for the manifold holes you can plug it but better option is to swap the manifolds.
