I was just curious if anybody noticed that this guy say that the Type-R enigine has lower compressiobn then a LS B18B That made me laugh wonder how much more he got wrong.

SIGNED**** Noob to the forum but not new to the world of HONDA.

Well the B18B is JDM and the B18C5 is USDM. Maybe you're thinking of the B18C when you say Type-R engine.

thanks for bringin up an old thread....

Its not exactly an old thread because its sticked/pinned.

You should make your own thread covering this issue instead of attaching it to the end of a long dead information thread. You will get better responses.

is it safe to use forced induction with them, the compression seems a little high?

i was going to get a KL-ZE for my mazda (the JDM 2.5L DOHC V-6), but i'm staying with the KL-03 (A-spec 2.5L DOHC V-6) because i'm adding a turbo and the compression in the JDM engine is too high.

Yo that's why there tripple head gaskets to lose some compression
