holecow Posted August 23, 2013 Share Posted August 23, 2013 Car was in a flood. I determined ECU was probably bad. The transmission would randomly downshift. I bought a used ECU. It is actually out of a 99 Accord. I plugged it up, connected the battery and tried to crank. Got green key light and while it turns over, it won't start due to immobilizer (or so I've read). How do I get key(s) re-programed? Does anyone think that replacing the ECU will not fix the transmission issue?
