92 ex Wagon battery light

Recommended Posts

I have replaced the battery and alternator. I have checked the grounds and I still don't know what the deal is. The battery light comes on and the car will lose power and act like it'll stall but stay running till I floor the pedal for a second and then it is normal for about 100 meters and start again. I don't know what else to do! help!

Have your tried adjusting and cleaning your IACV? If the car is idling too low it can cause the battery light to come on due to the alternator RPMs being too low to recharge the battery.

If you google something like, "how to clean iacv honda accord" you will get several good writeups and videos. It's a pretty simple and common procedure for a 90's honda.
