2 bad transmissions... could it be something else?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

my trans B7XA on my 2000 V6 accord blew, so i thought. loud metal rubbing/scrapping noise when you shift out of park into any gear. Once i shift back into park there is a terrible grinding sound until i shut off the engine. Never had any engine codes for solenoids or anything. So i swapped transmission with a B7XA i pulled at a junkyard.

Replacement transmission was smooth shifting and felt great for 2 kms until it blew too!

Clunk noise when i switch gears now and the car is stuck in neutral.

What gives? could it be something else?

I bench tested all of the solenoids work when applying 12V but didnt seem to meet the resistance range of less than 25 ohms.

i dont want to waste money what do you guys think i should do?
