EFGoob
Hey everyone. I am looking for some help/ advice on my 1991 Civic EF. I have slowly been trying to restore her but have recently run into an issue. According to the garage they are saying that my suspension has supposedly rusted around from the body and from what I understand, the unit that the suspension mounts to. It has caused the steering on the car to be basically uncontrollable and jumpy (a given) and a loud as hell screeching noise. Their trying to tell me to just junk her... but lets face it.. thats not happening. haha. Im not real smart in the area of honda's. Is this fix able..? and I mean in any form. haha Anyone ever run into this kind of problem?
James Matteu
The only repair I know of is the cut out the bad parts and weld in replacements. If the needed cuts are extensive then this could be why they're suggesting you junk the chassis.
