marcw842
I've been to 5 auto parts stores, all of which looked up my car and sold me axle/driveshaft that doesn't fit in my car. I went back to all these places with my old, broken axles, and apparently I have 26 inboard splines and 23 outboard splines, and my car supposedly calls for 25 and 23. Even with this information, the axles they gave me with the correct spline count don't fit due to the size. My transmission is stock. I have a 1987 crx si. My old axles fit right back in with no problems. Has anybody else experienced this?
James Matteu
I have on my 1986 Toyota MR2 N/A. They eventually stop stocking your parts or start stocking the wrong ones. Rebuild them yourself. Check YouTube, there's a plethora of videos showing you what to do.
