B20/vtec Turbo safe?

no.

 

if you want safe and reliable under boost you're going to need pistons, rods, balanced crank, and you will also need to sleeve the block.. cylinder walls on a B20 are too thin to handle boost above 10 - 15psi.. frankenstine builds arent relatively reliable to begin with and adding boost will just be an added headache without doing supporting mods to help the engine be more reliable

If you keep it in the 180-200whp range with a good tune it will be reliable if the engine is in good shape to start with. Reliable is subjective when it comes to anything to is built, especially turbo setups.
