Will Frank
Whenever I coast or turn it grinds and I can feel it in the gear shifter. It sounds like the pistons are dry but I check it and there is oil.
James Matteu
Sounds like bad bearings. Check the wheel bearings, make sure you don't have any foreign debris lodged anywhere in the suspension.
Will Frank
it also shifts hard but i put tranny fluid in it so i know its not that. And it revs high almost like the timing is off
James Matteu
1. Which tranny fluid? If not Honda ATF, drain and refill with correct amount of Honda ATF. 2. Switch octane rating lately? If so, disconnect battery for 10 minutes to reset ECU. 3. Speedometer working? If not the VSS may be gone, TCU needs this to shift smoothly. 4. Revving high doesn't indicated bad timing O_o make sure there isn't any binding in the the throttle cable, but a high idle can also cause hard shifts. Make sure you don't mean surging idle, otherwise adjust idle if butterfly is closed at idle. Be sure the Fast Idle Thermo Valve (FITV) is closed when warm.
