tlc Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 I have an 89 si. two of the plugs do not stay down and the engine cuts out a bit. how do i get them to stay on and down all the way r u suppose 2 oil them, use some kind of sticky stuff? also the plugs i replaced were burnt i have found two things that say the fuel is lean the fuel is to rich which is it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
James Matteu Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 No, your not supposed to oil them. The boot is obstructing proper install, find out why. There are plenty of charts showing how to read your plugs and what each condition means. You didn't show us what you saw so I cant read them for you.
