Misskrystle7 Posted October 18, 2012 Share Posted October 18, 2012 Took my 2001 Acura mdx to a mechanic to diagnose a CEL. He gave me 4 codes. P0135, P0141, P0700 and P1768. According to him, this all pointed to a faulty ECU and that I need to get it replaced so the CEL goes off. Does this sound about right? Also they are wanting to charge $330 just for labor to install and program a new ECU (2 hours of labor and a $180 programming fee) whereas I called 3 actual Acura dealers and they are only charging between $130 and $195.
