slamman17543 Posted September 9, 2012 Share Posted September 9, 2012 Just got a 1990 SI with a B16 Swap. Been sitting for 10 years. Ive always worked on domestics so im kinda lost with this stuff. it does turn over and i did get it to cough into some life with a gas rag over the intake. i cant seem to get it to stay running and need some diagnostic help. i cant seem to figure out if the fuel pump is working. i dont want to fill it with fuel unless i know the pump is working. Ron Madurski Posted October 15, 2012 Share Posted October 15, 2012 You should be able to hear the pump running or check for pressure at the schrader valve. But, if it does'nt have fuel you will burn up your pump and get no pressure, so put some gas in it first. Ron Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
