Mario Fenech
I just bought a honda del sol 1.5 v-tec engine. Now what i need to know is how to increase performance and hp without adding a turbo kit in my car. I don't want to swap my engine either. Any thoughts would be much appreciated thanks. airjordan223
First of all, welcome to HF. For basic questions like this, try using the search function as topics like these are covered regularly. It sounds like you don't want to make any significant changes (ie turbo or swap), so right now you're looking at a few bolt-on options. The basics are new intake, header, and exhaust. With all three of these, you might see 10hp increase total, but of course your car will sound different.
Xeryon
As just noted: if you do not want to turbo or engine swap you aren't going to get much for more horsepower. You have just taken off the table the two most cost effective methods for your civic to move faster.
Mario Fenech
Thanks. Only 10 hp? That's horrible. Okay so what engine would u recommend for my crx?
Xeryon
The problem is, your engine selection is completely different than ours. Can help as much as we can though. What is your budget (and currency)
