Low idle in drive with A/C on.

I was wondering if it was normal for a 97 Honda Civic HX D16Y5(Vtec-E) to low idle when the AC is going, because Park/Neutral idles at the recomended 700 +/-50 but when in D with the A/C on it only idles at maybe 300 tops and the car vibrates so i always throw it in neutral as i slow down to stop at lights. any ideas?

yea i figured from load of A/C compressor just not so low that it vibrates while stopped in gear. and it would appear nothing else is wrong, except one of my O2 sensors. thats the only dash light i have anymore xD

yea prolly, afterall before i bought mine it was driven thru a ditch <_< tore the grilled part of the front bumper off and various other things, the after cat o2 sensor was bent and somehow the ceramic wasnt broken until i broke it off to undo and replace... but il possibly check them and try and get that o2 sensor changed..

ok. now ive taken care of my o2 sensors the top one the best i can until i get a new cat/manafold so i no longer have cels as it turns up i also had one for egr valve so i found out that its vaccum was somehow disconnected and reconnected it and cleaned out the passages but my idle is still somewhere around 150-300 with ac load and its so low the A/C clicks on and off and i know its not over-pressured anymore because it runs fine except when in D while stopped. so maybe the IAC or what other possibilitys could it be?

*Update* Turns up its probably the TPS because i brought it up to autozone which my friend just happened to be up there who knows hondas pretty good and he was playing with the sensors(disconencted the TPS with no change then reconencted and disconencted the MAP sensor and it stalled out) so apparently the TPS has been bad because afterwards i got a CEL from the TPS so apparently the MAP has been covering for it all this time. soo when i replace it anywhere between now and next thursday i should see a improvement in idle :]
