0verb00st
every company that makes 6.5" components also makes 5.25" components. you might as well just get the 5.25s. but if you really want the 6.5s, go to a local car audio shop and ask for an adapter plate. the only problem with that is that speaker mounting wont be flush. sometimes that's a problem with door panels or speaker grilles. TLontheDL
okay so what do you suggest?? since you said all companies that make 6.5 also makes 5.25, should i just order the 5.25 speakers just to save trouble and time? or should i get the 6.5 and get the ring? i kinda want my speakers to be hidden...if its not flush, its definately not hidden, right? hmmm choices choices. im thinking of going with diamond audio components. i had image dynamics but i gave them away.. 0verb00st
diamond audio componets are great. i had the diamond M5 5.25" components in my daytona. great midbass and highs. i think you'll be better off just getting 5.25s instead of going through the trouble and spending extra $$ just for 6.5s.
