kris-ef Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 ok i have a 1990 honda civic ef, where the battery light wont go away i recently changed the altinator cause of this reason and got the battery checked everything is good i replaced grounds and checked fuses, but i have a issue where my altinator is not charging my battary so it keeps dieing, right now it wont even start i can jump it but it will die 5 min latter . i replaced everything but still having this issue please help.. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Raley Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 do you have a multi meter? your battery light wont come on for an over charge, it just screws with your battery. its either alt, belt or wiring, not much more can be wrong with that system.
