DelSolSweetie
need some advice from the few guys on here who know what they are talking about we need a steering system.. last year used an adapter on the ends of the rack and pinion and extended it.. tie rod was threaded on two ends and connected to a ball joint on each end problem we are running into is we *might"* be needing a lot of angle because the car is a lot smaller.. a high misalignment ball joint wont fit quite in an adaper like they used last year.. we can mill the end and have the ball joint bolt on top.. which i think would be fine.. hopefully the steering 'arm' on the hub is in accordance with the akerman angle our other issue is the body panel cant have bigger then a 1/2 inch gap.. so obviously the extension will have to go to the outer part of the car.. but when its turning it's going to pull the rod in the car.. so the extension has to be longer.. which means a pretty damn short tie rod.. main option.. long ass extensions.. short tie rods.. and take the steering 'arms' off the hubs to make the tie rod a little longer think it'll work without f'in up the ackerman angle and creating too much bump steer?
