rajtp Posted July 21, 2010 Share Posted July 21, 2010 Guys I recently had a break-in into my car and thankfully got the video from a neighbor. As soon as the thief opened the first door, the alarm went off and he popped open the hood and did something in under 10 seconds. Now, the doors lock/unlock with my fob but there's no alarm noises. How do I fix this? Do you think he pulled some sort of wire in the hood or took out a circuit? If somebody knows what this is on an Accord 98, I'd like to fix it myself Thank you! TLontheDL Posted September 2, 2010 Share Posted September 2, 2010 he/she probably cut the wire that connects from the horn to the unit. See if you can look under the hood and splice them together again by matching the colors AND THEN use electric tape to tape it together.
