SpeedDemon
the crx is the lightest, but it will be an extremely tight fit. and 92-95 eg hatchback is usually the best choice. there is a good bit of room, and its still light. the EG hatchback would also be OBD1 which means less wiring(if any needed). and less complication, also more parts are available for those years so its a bit easier. SpeedDemon
cheapest would be crx hands down. obd0 an obd1 are just the emissions for different years. in the crx i dont thing there is a way to retain a/c at all(i may be mistaken though)
adamEj6
you can still keep a/c in a crx with gsr swap. it wouldnt be that tight of a fit at all. go with whatever body you like most, performance will be close in all of them.
SpeedDemon
i thought the crx has a smaller engine bay?

adamEj6
came oem in japan with b16's and fit fine. they may be a little smaller but you can fit them in no problem. now a v6 on the other hand would be a little harder.
