Hey guys, I'm new to this forum so hopefuly this is the right section for this. I'm looking to buy a turbo kit for my 95 civic, I only want to run about 7 or 8 psi. I was looking at this kit from cx racing http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CXR&Product_Code=TRB-KIT-CIVIC-D-IC-KIT&Category_Code=TRBCVC I know this wouldn't be as good as say a kit from Greddy but I don't have the funds for that. Does anyone have experience with this company? Let me know what you think, any input appreciated. Thanks

No, and no on a greddy kit. Piece it together yourself for A LOT less. you should be able to piece together a kit if you look hard enough for somewhere in the ball park of $1300 which includes a tune.

get a cheap turbo housing from ebay from ssautochome, rebuild internals with greddy internals, and you'll have a great turbo for 1/4 the price.

things i would use with that kit:

piping

intercooler

turbo housing

possibly the manifold if rewelded the flanges.

learn more before you turbo a car. so you dont get in over your head.

Do not do what he just said. I have seen some of the ssautochrome (aka ssautocrap) come through the shop, a couple of the housings have been held together with epoxy, and that is no bueno.

Where exactly should I look? Sorry i'm new to imports.

junk yards. Turbo's are not vehicle specific..you can even use the intercooler piping from oem turbo cars as well...And you can find MANY fuel injectors that will fit a honda and provide enough fuel for the majority of ones needs.

home made turbo still has a ton of info on it..including porn...The new version is now called realhomemadetubo.com which is where all the HMT og's are now since the original host had to sell the forum.
