joheshy55
ok i drive a 1999 acura integra LS with the b18 b1 in it. clean motor runs good. was curious if i should swap it for new motor or keep the one i have and maybe add a kit to it? if i did swap it was suggested that i swap it with probably a h22a or k20? which one should i choose. i dont know much about cars but i am just looking for ideas. Thanks Edited May 7, 2010 by joheshy55
lceah
I agree...keep it...maybe add a VTEC head...keep it nice and clean and enjoy driving it until it dies...

SpeedDemon
if you really want to do something then do lsvtec. it will net you around 200+hp. swapping in another motor can be very expensive. a h22 is going to take up a lot of room and a k20 is a bitch to swap. the transmission is on the opposite side of the engine lol. and youll only get 220 MAX from a k20a type r cost wise....go lsvtec. just get a b16a or gsr head. then a golden eagle lsvtec conversion kit(150) and a good tune
joheshy55
As far as i know, the motor has 85k miles on it, i just bought the car a week in a half ago. so im not really sure.
rdeaner
Don't fix what ain't broke! (or replace in this case). keep it, add exhaust/headers/intake, run it till it dies (which will be a good few hundred thousand miles), then whack a bigger engine in. ^^agree
