mongo Posted May 5, 2010 Author Share Posted May 5, 2010 (edited) the Haynes says to unplug the IAC and adjust the screw next to it,,,i can turn it two complete times and still wont raise rpms,,,then it says to reconnect the plug, pull the back up fuse and recheck,,,,when my a/c comes on the rpms drop to 0 and raise to 1500 untill i power off the a/c...may have to clean the IAC or replace it,,dont know..........but thanks for your response,,,,,,,,,,,,till i learn about Hondas,,, all help is appreciated. mpearce1974 Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 You are so right,,,I found a stop screw under the return spring,,but,,,,how the hell do u turn it,,,,,no slot for screw driver,,and i tried needle nose and cant get a good grip on it,,,,any tricks? There is a allen wrench opening in the bottom of the adjustment screw, and you need to hold screw then back nut off to desired point then tighten screw til idle is where you want it, then snug nut back up while holding with allen wrench.
