movie thread

So I finally watched Angels and Demons.....

I had no idea what was going on, but I knew exactly who the "bad guy" was within 5 minutes. This stuff is getting too predictable.

Nothing to do with user pics, so split to a new topic... even though that thread is pretty much toast.

The book was a lot better than the movie.

Last thing I watched at the cinema was Pixar's Up. Was awesome.

Best thing I recently saw was District 9. If any of you haven't seen it, do so ASAP. Blew me away. Watched it like twice, nearly 3 times in 2 days.

The last movie I saw in a theater (drive-in) was I Love You Man, lol.

Waiting on: New Moon, The Lovely Bones, Nine, Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Alice in Wonderland (spring) and Dear John (February) at the moment. I despise movie theaters.

I never got around to seeing Inglorious Bastards... That really looked good. Dying to see The Men Who Stare at Goats. Sherlock Holmes looks good. Not really interested in the whole Twilight thing, even though there are werewolves in New Moon, sorry Lexi. Would still like to see 9.

The Wolf Man remake with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins looks simply fantastic. Can't wait for that. I don't know what all is up and coming, I don't have the money to get out much here and there's no TV for me.

so, you're telling me you wouldn't take me to see Boondock Saints II: All Saint's Day either? it's playing at Crossroads & Raleigh Grande!

edit: I'm sure Andy would take me to see New Moon... he lives down the street from the Blue Ridge theatre. lol.

Which one is really good, All Saints Day or New Moon. I'd prob go to both to be perfectly honest. I just have no idea what would be going on in New Moon. I'd also have to make a t-shirt about the gheyness of sparkling vampyrs.

theres more werewolf than vampire in that movie. you only see sparkles i think twice...and its very brief and pointless. overall a good movie

I forgot Boondock has a sequel now, have to get around to it eventually... still have to take the shrink wrap off the original's blu-ray though too.

New Moon is more about the "wolf pack".

I don't like theaters because they're not comfortable, the air bothers my contacts, hearing people crunching away on their snacks annoys me, little kids making out is just as annoying and I don't care for strangers' reactions to scenes (screaming, laughing, crying, whatnot). Then again, the majority of movies over the course of the past however-many years aren't worth paying ~ $10/ticket for either.
