OTiS Posted October 5, 2009 Share Posted October 5, 2009 it started by me changing my radiator to a new one. found out i had a crapty headgasket and a pit in the head. now im lookin at doing a mini me but i need help because this is the first time iv done anything like this and i have a few questions. block will be d15b7 and head will be d16z6 i believe. i get get the z6 head and ecu for $100 i bought a headgasket kit for the d15b7. will the headgasket thats in that fit with the d16z6 head? will i need to change the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, throttle body, fuel rail or fuel injectors? which distributor do i use? will the headstuds need to be replaced with the new head? the ecu ill be getting will be from an auto del sol, will i need a new ecu from a manual transmission z6? what gaskets need to be replaced for the entire process? will i need to change the timing belt to a z6 timing belt? thats all i can think of at the moment but if i remember more later ill ask Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OTiS Posted October 7, 2009 Author Share Posted October 7, 2009 already had it bookmarked. it says optional z6 im. so my d15 shuld fit. and the z6 gaskets are the same as the d15 but why does everyone say use the y8 and the y8 spark plugs?
