Here's some pics to follow you along my journey: So your stock unit looks like this eh? Not anymore -- I removed the bottom dash panels... -- ...removed the screws that hold the bezel... -- ...so I could then remove the bezel. -- I brought the bezel inside for further disassembly. -- I installed the new head unit, a Kenwood KDC-MP242 unit. -- I gave her a test to see if she worked... and it did, on first try! -- The unit lit up. -- What she looks like -- Discuss!! I have an EK as well, but it came with a pioneer head unit when i got it. lol, dude it sucked because I had to play CDs, and then guess what? Yup.. the CD player went out. And I can't drive without my jams, and I hate radio SO I spent $110 and countless hours to put that Kenwood unit in. And Pioneer units are sweeeeet!! Very premium!
