Need a Catalytic Converter

I recently purchased a 99 accord 4cyl/ 5spd. Its got 150k and runs like a champ. Last week something in the catalytic converter let go and now it rattles. The check engine light came on for a catalyst issue. I cleared the code and it hasnt come back on. Heres my dilemma. The sticker under the hood states the engine is a ulev emmissions engine and meets California requirements for that year. I live in Mass and the car was originally purchased in Mass. That being said, can i use a 49 state approved catalytic converter or do I need to use a california approved cat. I'm wondering if a 49 state cat would cause an issue with the computer??? Maybe I'm reading to deeply into this but i'll defer to someone who's familiar with these engines.

I'm not 100% sure if it'll make a difference. But I do know that the Cali emissions cars use a wideband o2 sensor and a different ecu than the regular cars.
