nicola Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 help....i have a civic hybrid and my shifter is stuck btw. p and r....when i press the button to move it nothing happens therefore i can't get the keys out of my ignition since i can't put it in park. the steering wheel moves just a bit but that's it. i'm thinking it's a tranny issue? it's only a few yrs old too.... It is either the solenoid inside the shifter itself but it sounds more like the shifting cog inside the tranny is jacked up. it is most advisable to take it to dealer or repair shop that knows how to work on hybrids.
