TrnsDoctr'sSol
after about 2 weeks after the "fun night" i'm starting to notice that its getting harder and harder to get into second and third gear. i know its my syncros and i want to rebuild the trany but..... i can't find a rebuild kit anywhere online. does anybody have any websites or anything? because i would hate to have to ask my dad to order me one..... Ps. its not a fun night in a manual transmission car with someone who doesn't know how to use it...

mpearce1974
Have you ever rebuilt a tranny before? Try PMing SSR, but he has not been around much lately. He is the resident tranny guru! He might have a email in his profile I think!
TrnsDoctr'sSol
i've watched my dad do it many times before and have enough knowledge of them to do it, i just don't want to ask him for the kit to do it. im going to be changing the oil in it soon, prolly next weekend to try and get as much metal out as possible to try and prevent any futher damage but it needs to be rebuilt soon so im trying to find a kit
alex37211
Sounds like a lot of unnecessary work. It would be easier to just buy a good used tranny. Maybe $150 or so.

I can get a whole motor with tranny for what a "rebuild kit" would cost! >_<
Tko
A. Bulls***B. wtf, can't we go a month without someone registering and being a retard? Hate to say it but this is a honda related website. Your chances of morons are increased. Stupid people with Aston Martians don't use a computer to figure out their problems they just pay someone to fix it. Thing is, nobody posting spam is actually on here because it's HF, they're here because it's a place to post links and earn money from Google or some other incentive program. TrnsDoctr'sSol
it would be alot easier to just swap a new tranny in there but the problem is that they are very hard to get round here.....
..SSR..
Do you even have your AD in Transmissions yet? It doesn't need synchros. There is no rebuild kit. You're looking at $300 in parts.
