cgates Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 Would it be possible to switch the steering wheel from a 93 accord with my 89 accord? the 93 has an airbag, but i am curious as to whether or not I can attach the steering wheel without connecting the airbag. I am looking to do this because my steering wheel is very thin and feels like plastic and I prefer the feel of the padded steering wheels If it is not possible, which honda brand steering wheels are compatible? BrIaN EG2 Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 it should work.. i swapped my stock delsol steeringwheel with SRS (airbag) to a jdm itr steeringwheel with no srs.. i dont see why there would be a problem with doing the opposite of what i did..
