09 Civic Si Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Im new to the whole Honda scene, I used to drive a 2006 Cobalt SS supercharged, but got this Si. No idea really on what to do to it. I have a Injen CAI thats it right now. Just looking for some ideas, Thanks.
wannaBstuntin Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Uh welcome. There's a lot of things you could do to it, but that's really up to you.
09 Civic Si Posted July 24, 2009 Author Posted July 24, 2009 Its a blue color, a little bit lighter then my buddies 06 Si. Mine is a 4 dr and I love it, as far as a budget im looking to spend no more then about 2 grand right now. I just need ideas on good parts and places to get them. I will post pics soon here, im really busy with work and being in the Army. Please any ideas thanks
BrIaN EG2 Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 IMO stance should come first.. TEIN Type Flex coilovers would run you up to that 2k mark, lol its a newer car so parts wont be cheap, and if they are cheap and not a well known brand... theyre not worth the money, do it right or pay double later
wannaBstuntin Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 You could get some decent lowering springs with a moderate drop. You don't have to get full adjustable coilovers. Then you'd still have money left over for Intake, Header, Exhaust, tint, etc.
09 Civic Si Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 What would be some good, decent lowering springs? I have tinted windows, CAI, and Motegi rims on it
BrIaN EG2 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 tein S tech are decently priced and nice riding lowering springs, ive never heard any complaints from them motegi wheels... now all you need is a nice exhaust.. IMO tanabe or buddyclub, not too costly and sound great.. but skunk2 sounds great as well. friend has their catback on his 07 si and i love how it sounds.. hope this helps a little
09 Civic Si Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 I was looking at the Skunk2 exhaust and headers, any ideas for a downpipe?
