krystenCIVIC99 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Hi, I really need some help ASAP! I am installing my halos right now, and i read some directions from someone else on here, and they seemed legit.. but then when they said, take the black wire from the headlight and connect it to a ground.... i was so confused because my halos have 2 red wires, not one black and one red. what does that mean? Okay so this is what ive done so far, i have the switch, i used a wire to ground it. i have used a wire to connect it to the pos on the battery. now i need to connect the 2 halos from the 2 lights to the switch. but how because i have 2 red wires for each halo?? does that mean that i dont need a ground from the halos? since i already have one for the switch? i hope you understand what im trying to say. im very bad at explaining things. someone please get back to me ASAP!!
Blizzard Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 With lights, polarity doesn't matter. Hook up one red wire from each halo to the power source, and one from each to ground.
