AIGSR93 Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 I read the prev post and comments on the is my integra a honda or acura...I recently purchased A Rare DB2 (B17) 1993 Integra GSR with acura on steering wheel and misc parts labeled honda including motor...now if u have the recent honda tuning mag they have an article on the 1993 Acura Integra GSR with its low production numbers at 1,200 b17's in 92 Acura Integra GSR's and 1,000 b17's in 93 Acura Integra GSR's which were all assembled here in USA...Also I have a 1992 Acura Integra GS which is identical to the GSR but the GSR is B17 v-tech and the GS is 1.8 dohc...along with the 93 GSR labels the 92 GS labling is same the steering wheel is acura and hood/trunk ornaments are acura as well but most other misc parts state Honda including motor...My point is the same as from your comments which is mixed...I personally put a honda steering wheel cover on my 93 GSR b/c the steering wheel is falling apart from sweaty hand syndrome from prev owner and also since my seats are perfect condition i was considering purchasing honda seat covers for extra protection to save condition...would it be wrong or ok? i dont know i should b/c the way people look at this but seriously its Honda motor...honda parts...might not honda assembly...but has acura labeling = tough question anyone have the right answer or isnt their one?
