dirtyjerzy Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 the accel button on my cruise control is suddenly acting as a horn! do i simply unscrew the cruise control cluster and maybe unclutter the wires. it was workin fine and just happened to change one day. any insight to this little missfortune wuld be excellent. thanks! Xeryon Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 You have the right idea. The horn and cruise wires probably wore through the insulation and they are shorting out.
