I was also have same problem. Another problem is, when I turn the steering the RPM drop

 

That's why it's called "power" steering. There's a pulley on the p.s. pump that spins under power of your engine. When you turn the wheel, the pump is put under pressure and requires more power from the engine. Thus the rpms will drop.

and the fact that you have a leak means that the pump is compressing/expanding air in the system, while the fluid in the pump wont compress/expand so its having to do more work.
