CRG7
he said no homo he could just be gettin fed up with the problems hes had with the car and might want to start new lame. it's not as though he needs to have a car. no job, no school, no kids to tote around, etc, so what's the big deal if there's a few days of downtime to actually fix this one? i can't understand those who claim to be interested in cars, but want to give up as soon as there's a few problems. problems are going to come up from time to time in any car. don't take the "easy way out", rick. be a man about it
Shanebot90
what if he's just bored of it and wants something completely new? wasn't he the one who wanted to go out and get a new STi?
CRG7
what if he's just bored of it and wants something completely new? wasn't he the one who wanted to go out and get a new STi? Joe (xxscaxx) was going to get the new STi. I don't understand how people can buy a car, from a dealership no less, then decide less than a year later that they're bored of it. Might as well save the money and buy used from private parties, or settle on something for a bit longer at a time and simply lease a car (since you're throwing money away anyway). Then again, I keep my cars for-almost-ever.
Rick B.
lame. it's not as though he needs to have a car. no job, no school, no kids to tote around, etc, so what's the big deal if there's a few days of downtime to actually fix this one? i can't understand those who claim to be interested in cars, but want to give up as soon as there's a few problems. problems are going to come up from time to time in any car. don't take the "easy way out", rick. be a man about it im not trying to take an easy way out ash. Yes, i dont have a job, i dont go to school, and i dont have kids to tote around. but all of the recent problems with my car can easily be related to the accident the car was in. i was rear ended, and now my rear differential is taking a dump on me. I also have some bearing or another coming out the backside of my transmission. who knows what else was knocked loose from the accident, and there is no way to find out until something breaks. the thing is, with this car, the bills add up quick. a differential is going to cost me about $800. I still need to change the timing belt, ect. thats another $900. I have no idea how much the bearing is for the tranny because Im afraid to ask since transmission stuff is so expensive. I do know that its not a throwout bearing, its some other kind, i forgot which one but it sounded important. lol. eventually, i could have all the problems fixed on the car, but who knows how many thousands of dollars in repairs ill have to do first. Im just saying it would be nice to have a car with alot less miles on it that i could work on and most likely mod without having to worry about the old girl's ticker goin out. oh well. i think im keeping the car anyway. already told the shop to fix the diff. ill have the car back either on friday or monday. ill just find myself a nice sti swap or somethin. by the way ash. i work for free at a local ambulance company as a volunteer. lceah
^makes sense... After these problems get fixed, it would be a good time to sell this car and find yourself something with low miles, as you said gl that's awesome that you are a volunteer there! I'm going to do fire fighter training sometime soon and I'm thinking of volunteering too yaay!

..SSR..
I have an idea. Get a new rear diff, an MFactory front diff, and MFactory 1-5 gear set. ^That is full of win.
