93del_sol_vtec Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 watup guys i put in a msd ignition box sci-l (its silver) for some strange reason well to me my del sol seems to be running slower is this possible? could the box reduce my performance or does it always increase? lastresort576 Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 yup the stock honda ignition system is good til like 400-500hp. yes msd is the best for upgrading the ign system on most cars but for some reason with hondas many reffer to it as..."missing spark disorder" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
IVhorsemenmotorsports Posted December 28, 2008 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Yeah you can sometimes make the car run worse if the msd box is bad. I had my experience with the box your running and had the same problem. I bought the box used and yes it still started but it didnt run great or even the same.
