Will 215 40 17 tires fit on my 90 civic hatch without rubbing or sticking out real far? Please let me know I just bought some 17's and woundering what tires to put on for best fit and traction. jerrodh Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Do not get 17's worst ride I've ever driven on. Except anything larger. Function > form. And on a small car especially like a Civic Hatch or my Del Sol you can get 14's and they won't look small on the car. I'd definitly consider smaller rims like 15's.
