XS Power Turbo

Recommended Posts

I have dreams of boost in the future and figured I might start collecting the pieces when I run across a good deal. But I'm really a newb when it comes to FI.

What do you guys think about this?

And how about this kit? Is it really worth $1500?

XS Power is pretty much the same as ssautochrome....pretty sure it's even the same company with a different "title" because of the bad rep SSautochrome got. Stay away from that stuff. I've heard stories of badly cracked manifolds to turbo's falling apart/breaking in half.

like everyone said, buy name brand turbo. but that kit you posted is precision. ask for some pics. most of the stuff listed there is good stuff. (dsm injectors, tial wastegate, precision turbo...never heard of that intercooler)

Mishimoto is a good intercooler. I've seen them on like cover-page magazine builds where everything else was about as good as it gets. (Hytech, Toda, spoon, etc)

I had heard of XS Power but didn't know if it was any good or not. I guess I do now. Thanks. And I haven't heard of Precision turbos before. Also, I don't know if I wanna drop $1500 on a kit just yet.

out of those i'd go with the kit that was there. precision makes some decent stuff, it's not really a "top of the line" brand but it works. i know a couple guys back home that have run that SC61 for a little while now, it's not bad.
